With only four weeks remaining in the regular season, the Carolina Panthers suffered another loss, in more ways than one. If you've watched their last three games, you'd know that they played another tight contest against the Philadelphia Eagles, leaving Philly fans far from pleased with the narrow victory.
Bryce and his team are starting to proving to the league that they must not be overlooked. Despite sitting at 3-10, the Panthers have shown they can compete toe-to-toe with some of the top teams in the NFL. However, as with all things good, there’s always a downside.
Rookie running back Jonathan Brooks suffered another torn ACL in the loss to the Eagles, ending his rookie season and raising some doubt for his 2025 season. But, Panthers fans--and Carolina Panthers legend Thomas Davis--are no stranger to this particular injury.

Thomas Davis:
Linebacker Thomas Davis tore his ACL three times in just 23 months during his time with the Panthers. In less than two years, Davis endured the most severe knee injury possible three times. Despite this, he went on to make three Pro Bowls after his third ACL tear. Davis is a testament to the possibility of thriving even in the face of adversity. Former team owner Jerry Richardson was reportedly a supportive and motivating presence for Davis throughout his recovery. “He told me, ‘I believe in you and if you’re willing to put yourself through it, I’m willing to give you the opportunity, “Davis said. “In life just knowing that you have somebody who believes in you, just knowing that you have an opportunity, that you have a chance -- and I took it and I ran with it. The best years of my career all happened after I tore my ACL for a third time.”

Jonathon Brooks:
The mental challenges Jonathon Brooks, ACL, now faces will likely be even tougher than the physical ones. For any rookie, it would be understandable to feel defeated, but something tells me that's now how Brooks operates. He will bounce back. Coach Dave Canales has confidence in his determination. "He knows how to handle this, he'll attack it, and his focus will simply shift to what he's now competing for," Canales said. The Panthers were so confident in Brooks' potential that they traded up to select him in the second round, fully aware he wouldn't be playing right away. While it will be challenging for him to live up to that expectation, the Panthers believe his talent is undeniable.
Absolutely no excuse for the medical staff to not prevent this
brooks is gonna be a legend one day!
