On July 22nd, 2024, digital media brand–704 Pride–officially launched “The New Era Project.” The project represents an ambitious vision from 704 Pride to transform the manner in which Charlotte sports fans develop community, consume content, and root for their favorite teams. Included in this vision are the following: an all-encompassing new website, weekly featured articles, a merchandise line representing the brand and Charlotte, an exclusive subscription platform for community members, and a local business partnership program.

After expanding the 704 Pride team in June, community members can now expect consistent articles for their favorite Charlotte sports teams: the Carolina Panthers, the Charlotte Hornets, and Charlotte FC. The nature of these articles will vary between investigative journalism, news-based write-ups, development-based op-eds, player highlights, and more.
As an integral part of “The New Era Project,” 704 Pride has launched an official merchandise line celebrating the Charlotte community and the brand’s endeavors. For the initial launch, the community has access to hats, t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, and hoodies with the brand’s logos featured.
