704 Pride is a digital media and lifestyle brand specializing in sports and entertainment. We cover the three major sports franchises in Charlotte, NC through our social media pages. Additionally, in the near future, we are aiming to highlight unique entertainment, business, and community-based activities within the city.
The Founding
704 Pride was founded in May of 2023. When launched, we set out to not only provide the highest quality Charlotte sports content on all of social media, but to put the community at the heart of everything we do. From day one, it became clear that the focus—the purpose of our work—was to make a difference in and build a sense of community surrounding Charlotte, NC. We are aiming to fulfill this mission every step of the way, and we’re ambitious to make an even bigger impact in the near future.
THE WORK
Today, 704 Pride represents a digital media brand encompassing accounts on multiple platforms. Our 704 Pride pages--active on Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube--provide you with the must-know information regarding Charlotte sports. These pages and sub-pages--Panthers Pride, Charlotte Hornets Pride, and Charlotte FC Pride-- create emotion-invoking content, provide news updates, and build fandom for our professional sports franchises.
The FUture
With the launch of this website, 704 Pride is embarking on new adventures, advancements, and enhancements. While continuing our journey of building pride and passion for the city of Charlotte, we are aiming to continue to expand our work. Thus, we will be hosting articles in-house on our website, we have launched our own merchandise line for 704 Pride and it's sub-brands, we have opened up our brand for sponsorship opportunities from local businesses, and we have officially launched our own subscriber platform to further our connection with the community. Moreso, as we continue to set the standard for digital media across the Carolinas, we will explore various opportunities to expand our team, cover additional sports teams, and showcase unique happenings in and around Charlotte, NC.
